The Curtis Parent Organization (CPO) is a nonprofit organization, run by volunteers, comprised of parents and guardians of Ephraim Curtis Middle School students.
Our mission is to support the school with volunteers and funding for events and activities, enrichment programs, scholarships, and items for the teachers, staff, and administration that will enrich students’ experiences.
Our primary goals are to:
- Provide scholarships for students;
- Offer cultural and creative enrichment programs;
- Fund items not covered in the SPS budget;
- Thank the teachers, staff, and administration with appreciation events; and
- Foster a sense of community within our school.

We’re excited to see Curtis families at next week's Open Houses and share more about what the CPO has going on this year!
6th Grade Open House: Wednesday, September 30, 6:30-8:00 PM
7th & 8th Grade Open House: Thursday, October 1, 6:30-8:00 PM
The CPO will be at both Open Houses, so be sure to stop by the cafeteria to say hello and learn more about how you can get involved this year. We’ll also have Curtis Gear available for purchase (or pickup, read on for details!).

7th Grade Fun Night is Friday, November 6, 2026 from 5:30-8:00 pm at Launch Framingham!
Tickets are available for purchase here. A ticket gets you a 2-hour pass that includes all of the trampoline activities, zipline, dodgeball, the ninja course, unlimited laser tag AND a pre-loaded arcade card! Also includes required grip socks.
Date: Friday, November 6th
Check-in: 5:30-6:00 pm
Event: 6:00pm-8:00pm
The Launch snack bar will be open for individual purchases so be sure to bring some extra cash in case you want to grab a bite with friends.
A waiver is required for every participant. Click here to sign the Code of Conduct. If registering on-site, a parent or guardian must be present to sign the Code of Conduct waiver.
No refunds will be given. For financial assistance, please contact the 7th grade guidance counselor.

Attention All Math Enthusiasts!
We’re excited to announce that the MATHCOUNTS Competition is returning to Curtis this year. All full-time Curtis students in grades 6-8 are eligible to participate in a school-level MATHCOUNTS practice competition.
From this group, up to 14 students will be selected to represent Curtis at the Chapter Competition.
Registration and Cost

Cost: Free

Chapter Competition
Date: February 2027
Cost: $42 per student
Details: Up to 14 students will represent Curtis at the Chapter Competition
This year, the Curtis MATHCOUNTS team will be led by volunteer parents from Curtis. Practice sessions will be offered online or in person before the Chapter Competition, but there are no weekly meetings.
