The Curtis Parent Organization (CPO) is a nonprofit organization, run by volunteers, comprised of parents and guardians of Ephraim Curtis Middle School students.

 

Our mission is to support the school with volunteers and funding for events and activities, enrichment programs, scholarships, and items for the teachers, staff, and administration that will enrich students’ experiences.

 

Our primary goals are to:

  • Provide scholarships for students;
  • Offer cultural and creative enrichment programs;
  • Fund items not covered in the SPS budget;
  • Thank the teachers, staff, and administration with appreciation events; and
  • Foster a sense of community within our school.

 

 Ways to Support the CPO!

  • CPO Direct Appeal: Donate to support CPO events, activities, and educational programs.

  • Business Sponsorship: Promote your business to Curtis families while supporting school programs (now open for 2026-2027 school year).

  • Bay State Textiles: Did you know the CPO earns money from the white donation bin in the Curtis parking lot? Donation list includes (clean & dry) clothing, linens, stuffed animals, and shoes.

7th Grade Fun Night is 11/6: Tickets On Sale Now

7th Grade Fun Night is Friday, November 6, 2026 from 5:30-8:00 pm at Launch Framingham!

 

Tickets are available for purchase here.  A ticket gets you a 2-hour pass that includes all of the trampoline activities, zipline, dodgeball, the ninja course, unlimited laser tag AND a pre-loaded arcade card! Also includes required grip socks.

 

Date: Friday, November 6th

Check-in: 5:30-6:00 pm

Event: 6:00pm-8:00pm

 

The Launch snack bar will be open for individual purchases so be sure to bring some extra cash in case you want to grab a bite with friends.

6th Grade Ballroom is Back!

Curtis 6th graders are invited to join Monica for a fun introduction to a few of the popular slow and fast dances. They'll also work on etiquette and social grace with peers. There are two slots that will be capped at 50 students each and spots are filling up quickly.

A Sweet Call for Volunteers

Our annual Cookie Sampler for Curtis teachers and staff is coming up in December, and we’d love to get a team to help coordinate this much-loved tradition!

 

You’ll be surrounded by bakers, cookie buyers, and all-around cookie enthusiasts. We’re simply looking for a few volunteers to help coordinate timing, cookie drop-offs, and the logistics that make sure our teachers and staff have full bellies and feel appreciated. 

 

Don’t be shy — this is a fun (and very sweet!) way to give back to the Curtis community. The Cookie Sampler is a staff favorite, and seeing the thousands of cookies our community creates is pretty amazing.

 

Whether you love organizing, communicating, or just making sure cookies get where they need to go, we need you!

Earn Money for the CPO

The CPO earns money by filling the textile bins located in the Curtis parking lot. A check is sent to the CPO based upon the weight of the monthly donations.

 

The company takes footwear, clothing, linens, and stuffed animals. When cleaning out, bring those bags of textiles to the bins to earn money for the CPO! Please remember to bag your donations.
