The Curtis Parent Organization (CPO) is a nonprofit organization, run by volunteers, comprised of parents and guardians of Ephraim Curtis Middle School students.
Our mission is to support the school with volunteers and funding for events and activities, enrichment programs, scholarships, and items for the teachers, staff, and administration that will enrich students’ experiences.
Our primary goals are to:
- Provide scholarships for students
- Offer cultural and creative enrichment programs
- Fund items not covered in the SPS budget
- Thank the teachers, staff, and administration with appreciation events
- Foster a sense of community within our school

Bus Driver and Crossing Guard Appreciation
3/11/2024 2:34 pm
SPS Schools are partnering together to show our appreciation for our amazing bus drivers and crossing guards that safely bring our children to school!
Principals are working with teachers to collect cards at each school.
Feel free to make one at home too!
There are two other ways that you can help:
- Make a small monetary contribution toward gifts for each bus driver and crossing guard as a token of our appreciation! Click HERE to make a monetary donation.
- Sign up to donate a breakfast item for our appreciation event. Items should be dropped off at Noyes Elementary School at 8:15 am on Wednesday, April 3rd. Click HERE to donate a breakfast item.
Thanks for your support!

1/8/2024 11:32 am
Thank you to families who have already contributed to our 2023-24 CPO Annual Fund! Your donations help to support a variety of programs and initiatives, including cultural enrichment, Curtis Messenger, student scholarships, student social events, technology, end-of-year activities, classroom curriculum aids for teachers, UA supplies, recess equipment, teacher appreciation events, library furniture, the student counseling department, the tile project in the school hallways, outdoor beautification projects, and much more. These are all important additions to the Curtis community and they truly improve the students’ experience at Curtis Middle School.
Our goal is to get 100% participation this year! If you have not yet donated, please consider a tax-deductible donation to the CPO to help support Curtis’ cultural, creative, and educational programming. Also, don't forget to check if your company offers a match to your donation.
Thanks in advance for your contribution!
Please note that donation acknowledgment letters will be provided by request only. If you require a letter for tax purposes, please email a request to cpotreasurer@gmail.com.
